Floating KUBUS

September 13 2025 – 14:00
Dechantlacke, Vienna

Setzkasten KUBUS x Maaslab – floating performances and long-durational explorations of adventurous acoustic music on a raft.

Versetzkasten KUBUS is a mobile art space, social sculpture and experimental venue – a portable frame that serves as the medium through which Setzkasten moves from Hernals to various locations worldwide. For this year’s Dessi Soli the KUBUS collaborates with Maas Lab and takes shape as a floating bamboo structure that “frames” acoustic concerts and interdisciplinary performances on and around the Dechantlacke. With contributions from artists including Marina Poleukhina, Elisabeth Flunger, Meike Melinz, Philipp Kienberger, Johanna Nielson, Georg Wissa, Laura Pudelek, Winfried Ritsch, Martin Simpson, Alexander Babikov and Stefan Voglsinger.
